Ballia (Uttar Pradesh): BJP's Uttar Pradesh (UP) chief Swatantra Dev Singh has once again landed in the centre of a raging controversy.
Addressing the gathering during an event at the home of BJP MLA Sanjay Yadav, Swatantra Dev Singh claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already decided on the date when India will declare war against China.
"Like the decisions on Ram Mandir and Article 370, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided when there would be war with Pakistan and China. The date has been decided," Singh said in Hindi.
The video clip of the speech has become viral on social media.
The remarks come amid the military confrontation between India and China at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. The Indian Army and the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China are locked in an eyeball-to-eyeball confrontation at the LAC in eastern Ladakh for more than five months now.
The BJP Uttar Pradesh (UP) chief also addressed Congress, Samajwadi Party and BSP as terrorists and questioned why people will vote for them.
He also said that the PM Modi-led government did not insult the country and the poor and they are following the path of Lord Krishna and Lord Rama in rising above family and community to work for all.
